Happy Trails to you.....

WJK is now working with the Town of Bluffton and Buckwalter Place, LLC on the Buckwalter Place Greenway Trail.  Partially funded by a South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Grant, the project includes routing over 1 mile of trails around a mixed use development where new, knowledge based businesses such as Care Core National have located their headquarters.  WJK is routing the trail to take advantage of the most interesting and significant natural features on the site.  The design will incorporate a gateway trail head and boardwalk feature descending into the woods from an existing pedestrian path on the parkway adjacent to the site along with multiple bridge crossings over existing drainage canals throughout the trail system.  The trail will be ADA accessible and should be a great addition to the sustainability of Buckwalter Place and the Town of Bluffton!
